Description

This Garlic Butter Chicken Bites & Cajun Alfredo Mac with Crispy Onion Topping recipe is the ultimate comfort food combo. Packed with creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce, juicy garlic chicken, and a crunchy onion topping, it’s a bold and satisfying dinner idea perfect for weeknights. Ideal for fans of spicy pasta dishes and easy skillet meals.

Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, cubed

3 tablespoons salted butter

3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups cooked elbow macaroni

1 cup crispy fried onions

Salt to taste

Instructions

1. In a hot skillet, melt butter and add the chicken pieces. Season with Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt.

2. Sear the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Meanwhile, cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

4. In the same skillet used for chicken, add a bit more butter if needed, then pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and a touch more Cajun seasoning. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.

6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and fold until fully coated.

7. Plate the pasta and top with garlic butter chicken bites and crispy fried onions before serving.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, creamiest Alfredo.

Adjust the Cajun seasoning to taste based on your heat preference.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce.
