Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces pasta
4 tablespoons butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
3. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add butter and garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta in the garlic butter beef sauce.
6. Sprinkle with parsley if using and serve warm.
Notes
Use any pasta you have on hand, but shapes like penne or rotini hold sauce best.
For added spice, toss in red pepper flakes while simmering the sauce.
Leftovers reheat beautifully with a splash of broth or water.
