Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
4. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of and around the salmon.
6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving and spoon the pan juices over the top.
Notes
For the best texture, choose salmon fillets that are close in thickness so they bake evenly.
Do not overbake the salmon, because it can dry out quickly once it passes the flaky stage.
A final squeeze of fresh lemon right before serving brightens the whole dish beautifully.
