Description

Fresh melon and prosciutto is the perfect summer appetizer recipe, combining sweet melon, salty prosciutto, and fresh mint. A light, gluten-free, low-carb dish ideal for parties, brunch, or a refreshing snack.

Ingredients

1 medium ripe melon

6 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto

2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice the melon in half and scoop out the seeds. Cut into wedges or cubes and remove rind.

2. Arrange the melon pieces on a serving platter.

3. Drape thin slices of prosciutto over and around the melon, folding for presentation.

4. Sprinkle fresh mint leaves and drizzle with olive oil if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use the ripest, sweetest melon you can find for best results.

Assemble just before serving to keep textures fresh.

Chill your serving platter to keep the dish cool on hot days.
