Description

These Eggnog Cheesecake Bars are the ultimate holiday dessert, featuring a creamy eggnog-spiced cheesecake filling over a buttery graham cracker crust. Perfect for parties or festive gatherings, this easy dessert bar recipe brings classic seasonal flavors with a smooth, rich twist.


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

16 oz cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup eggnog

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon rum extract

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly moistened. Press into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.

3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

4. Add sugar and beat until well combined and fluffy.

5. Pour in the eggnog, eggs, rum extract, and nutmeg. Mix until just blended.

6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.

7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

8. Let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

9. Slice into bars and garnish with whipped cream and nutmeg before serving if desired.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest texture.

Do not overmix the filling to avoid air bubbles.

Chill completely before slicing for clean, neat bars.
