Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

4 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese

12 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.

5. Stir in the parmesan cheese and mix until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

6. Add the uncooked pasta to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens.

7. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and stir to coat evenly.

8. Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Let the pasta sit for a few minutes before serving to absorb more sauce.
