Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
12 ounces egg noodles
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick spray or use a liner.
2. Place beef stew meat into the crockpot.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
4. Pour the mixture over the beef in the crockpot.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the beef is tender.
6. Boil egg noodles according to package directions near the end of the cooking time.
7. Drain the noodles and toss with butter.
8. Serve beef and gravy over the noodles and garnish if desired.
Notes
This recipe freezes beautifully—just store the beef mixture separately from noodles.
Use chuck roast or sirloin tips if stew meat isn’t available.
Add mushrooms or onions for extra richness if you’d like.
