Description

These Easy Cinnamon Sugar Blondies are chewy, buttery dessert bars topped with a crackly cinnamon sugar crust. Made with brown sugar, vanilla, and pantry staples, they’re the perfect quick-bake treat when you’re craving warm spice and gooey goodness. A must-try for blondie lovers and snickerdoodle fans alike.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

1 large egg

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus 1/2 teaspoon for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave until just melted, then whisk in the brown sugar until smooth.

3. Let the mixture cool slightly, then whisk in the egg and vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

7. Mix the granulated sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the batter.

8. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is just firm.

9. Let the blondies cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

These blondies freeze beautifully—wrap them individually to enjoy later.

Use dark brown sugar for deeper molasses flavor.

Add chopped nuts or white chocolate chips for a fun twist.
