Description

Dracula’s Dark Cherry Fudge is a rich, decadent chocolate fudge infused with sweet dark cherries for a hauntingly delicious twist. Ingredients

1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup dark cherries, chopped (jarred or rehydrated dried)

⅛ teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang. Lightly grease it.

2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter until smooth.

3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.

4. Fold in the chopped dark cherries.

5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Optionally, press cherry halves on top.

6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until firm.

7. Lift from the pan using the parchment, slice into squares, and serve.

Notes

This fudge is rich, so small squares go a long way.

You can enhance the cherry flavor with a splash of cherry liqueur.
