This Crock Pot Cheesesteak Tortellini recipe combines tender steak, cheese tortellini, provolone, and cream cheese into a rich, comforting one-pot slow cooker dinner. Ingredients
1 pound beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
20 ounces frozen cheese tortellini
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
2 cups beef broth
8 ounces cream cheese
6 slices provolone cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Slice the steak into thin strips and chop the bell pepper and onion.
2. Add the steak, onion, green bell pepper, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the crock pot.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours until the steak is tender.
4. Add cream cheese and provolone slices. Stir until melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
5. Add the frozen tortellini, stir to coat in the sauce, then cover and cook for another 30 minutes to 1 hour until tortellini is cooked.
6. Stir once more before serving. Optionally top with more provolone or chopped parsley.
Notes
This dish can be frozen after cooking—just thaw and reheat with a splash of broth.
Feel free to swap in mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies.
Pre-cooked steak strips can be used to save even more time.
