Description

This creamy Velveeta linguine with Italian beef marinara is the ultimate comfort food recipe. Featuring velvety cheese, savory ground beef marinara, and tender linguine, it’s a perfect pasta dinner idea for cozy nights or entertaining. Rich, hearty, and crowd-pleasing, this creamy pasta dish will quickly become a family favorite.

Ingredients

450g linguine

500g ground beef

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 yellow onion, finely chopped

800g crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

250g Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup whole milk

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the linguine until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in the onion and garlic, and cook until beef is browned and onions are translucent.

3. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10-15 minutes to build flavor.

4. In a separate saucepan, melt Velveeta with milk over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.

5. Combine cooked linguine with the marinara-beef sauce. Pour the cheese sauce over the top or mix it in fully.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use a mix of ground beef and Italian sausage for added depth.

Stir a splash of milk into leftovers when reheating for restored creaminess.

Adjust salt and pepper to taste based on your marinara brand.
