Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken and Rotini in Parmesan Sauce is the ultimate weeknight dinner—rich, savory, and loaded with cheesy garlic flavor. This easy chicken pasta recipe features juicy chicken, rotini pasta, and a silky Parmesan cream sauce perfect for cozy meals.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

12 oz rotini pasta

3 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package instructions, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the pan. Stir and let simmer gently for 3–5 minutes.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.

6. Return chicken to the skillet and add cooked rotini. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

7. Let simmer for 2–3 more minutes, garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, and serve warm.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a faster version.

Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.

Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of broth or cream.
