Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Beef Tortellini with Italian Sausage & Spinach is a rich and comforting one-skillet pasta recipe made with cheese tortellini, flavorful sausage, and fresh spinach in a luscious garlic cream sauce. Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb Italian sausage

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups fresh spinach

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and break it into crumbles while cooking. Once browned, transfer to a plate.

2. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1 minute.

3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to thicken slightly.

4. Add the cheese tortellini directly into the sauce. Cover and cook until tortellini are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Stir in fresh spinach until wilted. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

6. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet. Stir everything together, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh or refrigerated tortellini for best results.

Add a splash of cream or milk when reheating leftovers.

Feel free to substitute sausage with mushrooms for a vegetarian twist.
