Ingredients

225 g cream cheese softened 120 g shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons sour cream 4 medium dill pickles finely chopped 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped (plus more for coating) 2 tablespoons green onions finely chopped 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped dill pickles, fresh dill, green onions, and garlic powder. Mix until evenly combined. Transfer the mixture to plastic wrap, shape it into a ball, and wrap tightly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until firm. Once chilled, unwrap and roll the cheese ball in additional fresh dill, crushed nuts, or crispy bacon bits if desired. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for easier mixing. For more flavor, let the cheese ball chill overnight. If using salted nuts or bacon for coating, reduce added salt in the mix.
