Ingredients
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk or heavy cream
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
1 batch biscuit dough (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté diced onion until soft. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
2. Sprinkle in the flour and stir to form a roux.
3. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring until the mixture thickens. Add milk or heavy cream and cook until creamy.
4. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme or rosemary.
5. Stir in shredded chicken and frozen vegetables. Simmer until everything is warmed through.
6. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
7. Drop or arrange biscuit dough on top of the filling.
8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes
