Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes, then cool.
3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix again.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Stir in vanilla, sour cream, and flour until smooth.
5. Pour the batter over the cooled crust and bake for 35–40 minutes, until set but slightly jiggly.
6. Cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
7. Spread caramel sauce over the chilled bars and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
8. Slice into bars and serve cold.
Notes
Let bars cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
Use salted caramel if you want a sweet-salty flavor combo.
Wipe your knife between slices for neater presentation.
