Description
Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Beef Strips is the perfect weeknight dinner recipe, rich with Cajun spice, tender beef, and a buttery garlic cream sauce. This spicy creamy pasta is bold, comforting, and easy to make in under 30 minutes. Ideal for lovers of beef pasta recipes with a Southern twist.
Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb beef strips
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining and set the pasta aside.
2. In a hot skillet, heat olive oil and sear the beef strips over medium-high heat. Season with salt, pepper, and 1/2 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and just tender. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, add butter, and stir in minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream, whisk until it begins to simmer, then add Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens.
5. Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve creamy consistency. Return the beef to the pan and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
6. Garnish with parsley if using, and serve hot.
Notes
This pasta tastes best fresh, but leftovers can be revived with a splash of milk or cream.
For a milder dish, reduce the Cajun seasoning to 1 tablespoon.
Flank steak or ribeye are great choices for juicy, tender beef.
