Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Twisted Pasta with Mozzarella Alfredo is a comforting dinner recipe combining spicy Cajun chicken, mozzarella Alfredo sauce, and twisted pasta. Perfect for weeknight meals, this cheesy and creamy chicken pasta dish feeds the whole family and is loaded with flavor.


Ingredients

12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)

2 chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some pasta water.

2. Slice chicken into thin strips and coat with Cajun seasoning.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the seasoned chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream and let it simmer gently.

6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, mix until smooth and creamy.

7. Season sauce with salt and black pepper.

8. Add cooked pasta and chicken into the skillet, toss to combine.

9. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed to loosen sauce.

10. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra cheese before serving.

Notes

This dish is best served hot to enjoy the creaminess fully.

Use freshly grated cheese for the smoothest Alfredo texture.

Add a pinch of cayenne if you prefer extra heat.
