Ingredients
300g steak
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
250g pasta
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Generously season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Set aside to rest, then slice.
3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
5. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning and pour in the cream. Simmer gently, then add Parmesan and stir until melted and thickened.
6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, using reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.
7. Add sliced steak back to the skillet and coat with sauce.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use sirloin for a balance of flavor and tenderness.
Don’t overcook the steak—medium rare to medium works best.
Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers to restore creaminess.
