Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces bowtie pasta
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until soft and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir until everything is creamy and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
If sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water or broth to loosen it.
For added vegetables, stir in spinach or mushrooms during step 3.
