Description

This Comeback Sauce recipe is a creamy, tangy Southern-style condiment perfect for dipping, spreading, or drizzling. Made with pantry staples like mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot sauce, this flavorful sauce is quick to whip up and delicious on everything from fries to burgers.

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon hot sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon lemon juice or pickle juice

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard until smooth.

2. Add hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well blended.

3. Stir in lemon juice or pickle juice to add brightness.

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using to let the flavors develop.

5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

Use full-fat mayonnaise for the creamiest texture.

Letting the sauce rest before serving improves the flavor.

Adjust the hot sauce to make it milder or spicier.
