Ingredients
8 cups popped popcorn
1/2 cup unsalted butter
5 cups mini marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup gumdrops, halved
Instructions
1. Pop your popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels. Set aside.
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
4. In a large bowl, pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
5. Gently fold in gumdrops.
6. Press the mixture into a well-greased bundt or tube pan, using a spatula or buttered hands to press it down.
7. Let the cake set at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
8. Invert onto a plate, slice, and serve.
Notes
Use plain, unsalted popcorn to keep the sweetness balanced.
Butter your hands when pressing the mixture to prevent sticking.
Avoid refrigerating, as it makes the popcorn chewy.
