Description

These Chocolate Red Velvet Nutella Brownies are rich, fudgy, and swirled with creamy Nutella. The perfect blend of red velvet tang and deep cocoa makes this an irresistible dessert for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon white vinegar

¾ cup all-purpose flour

¼ cup cocoa powder (preferably Dutch-processed)

¼ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon red food coloring

½ cup Nutella (or more for extra swirl)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.

3. Whisk in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla, buttermilk, vinegar, and red food coloring.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella and swirl with a knife.

7. Add remaining batter and repeat the swirl with Nutella on top.

8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

9. Let cool completely in the pan before slicing.

Notes

These brownies are best when fully cooled before cutting.

Nutella can be warmed slightly for easier swirling.

Do not overmix the batter to maintain a fudgy texture.
