Description
Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookies combine the creamy tang of cheesecake with rich, buttery chocolate chip cookies in every bite. Perfect easy dessert for holidays or bake sales.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth. Chill.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Scoop a portion of dough, flatten, and add 1 teaspoon chilled cream cheese in center. Cover with more dough and roll into a ball.
8. Chill cookie balls for 30 minutes.
9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden.
10. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
Store baked cookies in fridge up to 5 days or freeze up to 2 months.
Serve slightly warm for best texture and flavor.
