Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup Bisquick or biscuit mix
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Melt butter and pour it into the bottom of the dish.
3. Layer cooked chicken evenly over the butter.
4. Add frozen vegetables on top of the chicken without stirring.
5. Spread cream of chicken soup evenly over the top.
6. In a bowl, whisk biscuit mix and milk until smooth.
7. Gently pour the biscuit mixture over the casserole without mixing.
8. Slowly pour chicken broth over the top—do not stir.
9. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until the top is golden and set.
10. Let rest a few minutes before serving.
