Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced

4 cups cornbread or bread cubes

1 small onion, diced

2 celery stalks, chopped

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 ½ cups chicken broth

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

½ cup milk

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried sage

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the ingredients by combining the diced chicken, chopped onion, celery, and frozen peas in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Make the dressing mixture by mixing the bread cubes with melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried sage, salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl.
