Description

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup white chocolate chips

3/4 cup dried cranberries


Instructions

1. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Whisk in the brown and granulated sugars until smooth and glossy.

2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.

3. Fold in the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix just until everything is incorporated.

4. Stir in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. The batter should be thick.

5. Spread into a parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking pan.

6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–28 minutes or until golden on the edges and just set in the center.

7. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.

Notes

Always cool before slicing to keep clean edges.

Don’t overbake or they’ll lose their chewy texture.

For a citrus twist, soak the cranberries in orange juice before using.
