Description

This cheesy twisted pasta with creamy garlic Parmesan chicken is the ultimate comfort food. Perfect for a cozy dinner, this creamy chicken pasta recipe combines tender chicken, garlic, and rich Parmesan in a luscious sauce that clings to every bite of twisted noodles. A family-friendly, weeknight dinner idea that’s ready to impress.

Ingredients

12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

4. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits.

5. Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, and simmer gently.

6. Add Parmesan cheese slowly, stirring until melted and sauce is thickened. Season to taste.

7. Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water and drain.

8. Slice cooked chicken and return to the skillet. Add pasta and toss to combine.

9. If needed, use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.

10. Serve hot with extra Parmesan and optional parsley garnish.

Notes

This pasta is best served immediately while hot and creamy.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.

When reheating, add a splash of milk or cream to revive the sauce.
