Description

This cheesy garlic twisted pasta with Cajun ground beef and Alfredo Velveeta is a creamy, spicy comfort food perfect for easy weeknight dinners. Loaded with flavor from Cajun spices, Velveeta cheese, and garlic, it’s a family-favorite pasta recipe.

Ingredients

1 lb twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed

2 cups Alfredo sauce

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the twisted pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

3. Add Cajun seasoning to the beef and stir well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Pour in Alfredo sauce and heavy cream. Stir until combined and warmed through.

6. Add cubed Velveeta to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth.

7. Combine the cooked pasta and Cajun beef with the cheese sauce. Mix to coat evenly.

8. Simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes to marry flavors.

9. Serve warm with optional Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor.

Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers for a creamier texture.

Try spicy Velveeta for an extra kick.
