Description

This Cheesy Beef and Italian Sausage Rigatoni in Garlic Butter Sauce is the ultimate comfort food dinner. Packed with bold flavors, garlic butter richness, and gooey cheese, it’s a hearty pasta recipe that’s perfect for cozy weeknights or casual dinner parties.

Ingredients

1 pound rigatoni

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound Italian sausage

4 tablespoons salted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Break it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease.

3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

4. Stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.

5. Add the cooked beef and sausage back into the skillet, then stir in the rigatoni until well coated.

6. Turn off the heat and fold in the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure to use rigatoni with ridges to hold the sauce better.

Don’t overcook the pasta; keep it al dente for best texture.

Add a splash of cream when reheating to bring back creaminess.
