Ingredients
1 box brownie mix
18 to 20 Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
4 candy canes, crushed
Instructions
1. Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 pan. Let it cool completely.
2. While brownies are cooling, unwrap the candy cane kisses and freeze them for at least 15 minutes.
3. Once brownies are cooled, scoop a spoonful of brownie and flatten it into a disc. Place a frozen kiss in the center and gently wrap the brownie around it to form a ball.
4. Place the brownie balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
5. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
6. Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate using a fork or spoon. Tap off excess and return to the tray.
7. Sprinkle with crushed candy cane immediately before the chocolate sets.
8. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm. Serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Use soft brownies to avoid crumbling when shaping.
Freeze the kisses to help them hold shape during assembly.
Store in a cool place to prevent the chocolate from melting.
