This Bubble Up Biscuit Pizza Casserole is the ultimate easy family dinner. Made with refrigerated biscuit dough, gooey mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni, this cheesy pizza bake is quick, comforting, and kid-approved. Great for weeknights, potlucks, or game days.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup pizza sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cut each biscuit into quarters for better rising and even distribution.
3. In a large bowl, mix the biscuit pieces with pizza sauce, half of the mozzarella, most of the pepperoni, and Italian seasoning.
4. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and top with remaining cheese and pepperoni.
5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
6. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use flaky biscuits for better rise and texture.
Try adding mushrooms, sausage, or bell peppers for variety.
