Ingredients
170g dark chocolate chips
115g unsalted butter
100g granulated sugar
50g brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
65g all-purpose flour
20g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Melt the dark chocolate chips and butter together until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until pale and thick.
3. Stir in the melted chocolate-butter mixture and vanilla extract.
4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the wet ingredients.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until crackled on top but soft in the center.
7. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
