Description

These Brown Sugar Pineapple Wings are oven-baked, juicy, and coated in a sticky glaze made from brown sugar and pineapple juice. This easy chicken appetizer blends sweet and savory flavors perfectly. Great for parties, weeknight dinners, or game day. Keywords: Brown Sugar Pineapple Wings, baked chicken wings, sweet glazed wings, pineapple chicken recipe, easy chicken appetizer.

Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup pineapple juice

1 tablespoon garlic powder

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Lightly grease it.

2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.

3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.

4. Place wings in a bowl or zip-top bag, pour in the marinade, and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the fridge.

5. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

6. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip and spoon additional marinade on top.

7. Continue baking for another 20 to 25 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.

8. Optionally, broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end for a stickier, crispier finish.

9. Serve warm with extra glaze drizzled over.

Notes

Patting the wings dry helps the glaze stick better.

Marinate longer for deeper flavor.

Broil at the end for a crisp finish, but keep an eye to prevent burning.
