Description

This creamy Boat Dip (Rotel Ranch Dip) is the ultimate no-cook appetizer for parties, potlucks, and casual get-togethers. Made with sour cream, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and Rotel, this easy dip is perfect for chips, veggies, or even spreading on sandwiches. It’s bold, tangy, and totally addictive—ideal for summer snacks or game day spreads.

Ingredients

1 cup sour cream

1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning mix

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

1. Drain the Rotel well, pressing with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

2. In a large bowl, mix sour cream with ranch seasoning and taco seasoning until smooth.

3. Fold in the drained Rotel and shredded cheddar cheese.

4. Add chopped green onions if using.

5. Chill for at least one hour before serving.

6. Serve cold with chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

This dip tastes even better after a few hours in the fridge.

You can make it a day in advance—just stir before serving.

Use hot Rotel or add jalapeños for an extra kick of heat.
