Ingredients

12 oz egg noodles

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cups frozen peas and carrots

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.

3. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant.

4. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper.

5. Cook egg noodles until al dente, then drain.

6. In a large casserole dish, combine noodles, beef mixture, frozen vegetables, and sauce.

7. Stir gently to mix everything evenly.

8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.

9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

10. Uncover and bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.

11. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure noodles are just al dente before baking to avoid overcooking.

You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or sausage for variety.
