Ingredients

3 tablespoons shredded sweetened coconut

Instructions
1. Cream the unsalted butter with both the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until fully combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
5. Gently fold in the shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped almonds.
6. Scoop dough into small mounds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
